PATRICK YCARO

Patrick Ycaro is the founder and owner of NorCal Strength Studio; fitness has always been a big part of his personal life, but his true passion lies in training, and helping people achieve their own fitness goals. And he’s been doing just that for over 10 years.

Patrick is comfortable working with a diverse age group: his clients range from 13 to 80 years old; yet, regardless of his clients’ generational differences, or whether or not they had an active or inactive lifestyle before they started working with him, they all share something in common – after training with Patrick, they all noticed considerable improvements in their strength, endurance, and energy level.

Patrick has always cited the considerable health benefits to be gained through HIT, but when he started training, and seeing significant improvements in strength, endurance, energy level, and motor function in a client with Parkinson’s disease, he finally understood that this is the work he wants to dedicate his life to: helping people gain the strength they’ll need, so they can be active for the rest of their life.

OLIVER YCARO

Oliver is a certified Strength Training Specialist who was introduced to High Intensity Strength Training (HIT) by his brother, Patrick Ycaro; Oliver learned and adheres to the fundamental principles of HIT, which states, exercise should be: Brief, Infrequent, and Intense. He considers himself a HIT traditionalist, and doesn’t like to stray away from the way, HIT founder: Arthur P. Jones, implemented the training.

According to Oliver, there are three things that attracted him to HIT:

  1. it’s easy to learn
  2. it’s efficient
  3. it gets results

Oliver enjoys seeing his clients’ reactions when they witness their strength and stamina increase week to week, by doing strength training for only 30 minutes, once a week.
